On the news front, the company recently disclosed its first-half 2026 results. GF Securities noted that for the first half of 2026, Impro Precision reported revenue of HK$3.018 billion, up 23.2% year-on-year. Adjusted net profit attributable to shareholders reached HK$433 million, a 20.4% increase from the prior year. The gross margin stood at 28.4%, up 0.6 percentage points. The company also raised its full-year sales growth forecast to 20%-25% year-on-year. The brokerage believes the interim results exceeded expectations, prompting the upward revision to the annual growth guidance.
Additionally, Impro Precision is increasing its investment in its Mexico plant, with the capital expenditure budget for 2026 set to rise by HK$200 million to approximately HK$850 million. GF Securities said that driven by robust global demand for AI data centers, the core revenue growth for Impro Precision in the first half of 2026 came from the liquid cooling and energy (gas turbine) segments, which surged 107.6% and 83.7% year-on-year, respectively, reaching revenue levels of HK$198 million and HK$54 million. The large marine engine business was slightly weaker, but still posted a 23.7% year-on-year increase. The company indicated that it expects strong and sustained growth in AI-related products over the next two to three years.
