General Administration of Customs: 15,000 Intellectual Property Customs Protection Records Approved in First Half of 2026

The General Administration of Customs released the "China Customs Intellectual Property Protection Report for the First Half of 2026" today, according to a statement from the General Administration of Customs official website.

In the first half of 2026, customs authorities nationwide seized 13,000 batches of suspected infringing goods, totaling 36.09 million items. The General Administration of Customs approved 15,000 intellectual property customs protection records and processed 165 total guarantees for intellectual property customs protection.

The General Administration of Customs is comprehensively advancing the "Smart Customs" construction and the "Smart Customs Strengthening China" initiative, intensifying the special IP protection campaign "Operation Longteng 2026." This includes targeted governance of key infringement areas, leveraging precision strategies, technological empowerment, and collaborative governance to further enhance regulatory efficiency and service levels.
