NetLink NBN Trust FY26 Revenue Edges Up; Distribution per Unit Hits 5.42 Cents

NetLink NBN Trust (CJLU) reported revenue of 413.4 million Singapore dollars for the financial year ended Mar, 31 2026 (FY26), an increase of 1.6% from the prior year, supported by higher ancillary project revenue while regulated income remained stable.

The nationwide fibre‐network operator posted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of 282.9 million Singapore dollars, down 1.8% year on year, translating to an EBITDA margin of 68.4%. Profit after tax declined 12.6% to 83.3 million Singapore dollars, reflecting higher operating expenses, depreciation, amortisation and finance costs.

Operating cash flow stayed robust at about 258.8 million Singapore dollars. NetLink distributed 210 million Singapore dollars to unitholders, funding the remaining 49 million Singapore dollars of its 107 million Singapore dollars capital expenditure from operating cash flow and existing facilities.

As at Mar, 31 2026, gross debt stood at 991.0 million Singapore dollars, with a weighted average debt maturity of 4.9 years. Net debt to EBITDA was 2.6 times, while EBITDA interest cover measured 12.3 times. The effective average interest rate was 2.41%, and 48.4% of borrowings were fixed‐rate, rising to 74.7% after additional hedges executed from Jun, 2026. The trust’s market capitalisation was about 3.8 billion Singapore dollars, and its net gearing ratio was 19.4%.

The trustee‐manager declared a full‐year distribution per unit of 5.42 Singapore cents, up from 5.36 cents in FY25, marking the sixth consecutive annual increase since the July 2017 listing.

For FY27, NetLink will focus on maintaining high network availability, expanding its regulated asset base through targeted capital investments, managing refinancing and interest‐rate risks, and preparing for the next regulatory review.
