Jardine Cycle & Carriage (C07) clears all resolutions at Apr, 30 2026 AGM; declares US¢85 final dividend and approves 0.88 million Singapore dollars directors’ fees

Jardine Cycle & Carriage (C07) said its shareholders approved every resolution tabled at the company’s 57th Annual General Meeting held on Apr, 30 2026.

The meeting endorsed a final dividend of 85 United States cents per share for FY2025, bringing the total annual payout to 113 United States cents, 1% higher than the preceding year.

Investors also backed directors’ fees of up to 0.88 million Singapore dollars for the year ending Dec, 31 2026.

Re-elections of directors Steven Phan, Tan Yen Yen and Freddy Lee were carried, and PricewaterhouseCoopers was re-appointed as external auditor. Shareholders further renewed the company’s share-issue mandate, share-purchase mandate and interested person transactions mandate, each with strong majority support.

Separately, the board confirmed leadership changes: Benjamin Birks stepped down as Group Managing Director, with Group Finance Director Freddy Lee slated to assume the Chief Executive Officer role on May, 1 2026; Ng Yang Yen will succeed Lee as Finance Director, and Lau Jo Yen will become Company Secretary following Jeffery Tan’s retirement.
