Samsung Electronics is set to begin its first intern recruitment for the advanced foundry in Texas, with the facility scheduled to commence production by the end of this year.

Reports indicate that Samsung Electronics has recently opened applications for next summer's internship program at its Taylor, Texas, facility. The company annually conducts internship programs at its major global sites, and this marks the first inclusion of the Taylor plant in next year's internship schedule.

The internship will span 11 weeks, allowing interns to work alongside experienced engineers on hands-on projects related to products, processes, and technology. The company is also recruiting candidates for the "Samsung New Engineer Development Program (SEED)," which targets engineering graduates and is classified as an entry-level hiring initiative.

This move is seen as a strategic effort by Samsung to secure and cultivate top talent ahead of the Taylor plant's production launch at the end of this year.
