Penguin International Limited announced that it has received in-principle approval from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited on Feb, 27 2026 for the listing and quotation of new ordinary shares to be issued under its proposed Penguin Share Plan 2026.

The approval is conditional on two factors: first, the receipt of independent shareholders’ consent for adopting the share plan; and second, the company’s continued compliance with SGX-ST listing requirements and guidelines.

Penguin International plans to issue a circular in due course detailing the rationale, rules and financial effects of the Penguin Share Plan 2026, along with a notice convening an extraordinary general meeting to seek shareholders’ approval.

The company emphasised that SGX-ST’s in-principle approval should not be construed as an indication of the merits of the share plan, the new shares or the group.

The announcement was authorised by Managing Director James Tham Tuck Choong and dated Mar, 1 2026.
