Kingboard Holdings Ltd (SEHK: 00148) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with revenue reaching HK$29.131 billion, a 35% increase year-on-year.

The company recorded a profit attributable to shareholders of HK$2.711 billion, representing a 5% rise from the previous year. Basic earnings per share stood at HK$2.445, and the board has declared an interim dividend of HK$0.73 per share.

During the review period, rapid advancements in high-end sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI) fueled robust demand for emerging electronic products centered around AI concepts. Consequently, copper-clad laminates and their upstream materials—including electronic glass fiber yarn, electronic glass fiber cloth, and copper foil—underwent multiple price hikes during the period, with an accelerated pace of increases observed in the second quarter.

While some market competitors faced partial production halts due to shortages of electronic glass fiber cloth, the group's comprehensive vertically integrated supply chain enabled a year-on-year increase in copper-clad laminate sales volumes, leading to a substantial surge in segment profits compared to the same period in 2025. This period also expedited customer certifications for the group's high-end products, allowing the company to attract a significant number of premium clients. Its expansive customer network continues to grow and shift toward higher-end applications.
