Everus Construction Group, Inc. (ECG) shares surged 8.61% in the 24-hour period ending Tuesday, driven by a stellar second-quarter earnings report that handily beat analyst expectations and an upward revision to its full-year 2026 outlook.

The company reported quarterly earnings of $1.64 per diluted share, a 59% increase from $1.03 a year ago and well above the consensus estimate of $1.14. Revenue climbed 33.7% to $1.23 billion, surpassing the $1.08 billion forecast. Key drivers included robust organic growth of 30%, contributions from the SE&M Constructors acquisition, and strong demand across commercial, industrial, and data center markets. Net income rose 58.9% to $83.9 million, while EBITDA reached $128.6 million and gross margin improved to 14.9%.

Looking ahead, management significantly raised its 2026 guidance, lifting revenue expectations to $4.5–$4.7 billion from the prior $4.3–$4.4 billion range, and EBITDA guidance to $410–$425 million from $345–$360 million. Both forecasts comfortably exceeded analyst estimates, reinforcing confidence in the company's growth trajectory and sparking the sharp post-market rally.
