Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL) surged 5.02% in the night session, driven by a bullish call from Goldman Sachs that reinforced investor confidence in the company's AI-driven growth prospects.

The upward momentum came after Goldman Sachs raised its target price on Dell from $500 to $510 while maintaining a Buy rating, and named Dell one of its "top three U.S. hardware picks" alongside Hewlett Packard Enterprise and NetApp. The upgrade effectively countered bearish sentiment from earlier in the week, when Morgan Stanley had cut its target price from $477 to $430, triggering a sharp decline. According to FactSet, analysts maintain an average Overweight rating on Dell with a mean target price of $506.14.

Broader strength in the AI server sector also provided additional support, with gains in Super Micro Computer and Seagate Technology contributing to positive sector sentiment. The renewed optimism centers on Dell's positioning in the enterprise AI infrastructure market as corporate spending on artificial intelligence continues to accelerate.
