On March 10, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, along with eight other departments, released the "Jiangsu Province Brain-Computer Interface Industry Innovation and Development Action Plan." The plan emphasizes strengthening financial support. It calls for leveraging the guiding role of the provincial strategic emerging industry mother fund to support specialized industry funds and sub-funds in investing in brain-computer interface projects with broad application prospects and strong growth potential. Regions with suitable conditions are encouraged to establish industrial investment funds for the brain-computer interface sector, attracting private capital to aid seed-stage and early-stage companies in scaling up. By utilizing the provincial comprehensive sci-tech finance service platform, the plan aims to aggregate government-bank cooperative credit products such as "Suke Loan" and "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and New Loan." Financial institutions are urged to develop specialized financial products catering to the brain-computer interface industry, offering integrated sci-tech financial services that encompass equity, debt, loans, insurance, and guarantees. The Provincial Financial Office, Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Provincial Department of Finance, People's Bank of China Jiangsu Branch, Jiangsu Local Financial Supervision Bureau, and Jiangsu Securities Regulatory Bureau will oversee implementation according to their respective responsibilities.
