AK Medical repurchases 900,000 shares on 5 June; cumulative FY26 buybacks rise to 14.46 million

AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return that it bought back 900,000 ordinary shares on 5 June 2026. The shares were repurchased on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 5.75 and HKD 5.81, for a total consideration of HKD 5.22 million, implying an average price of HKD 5.80 per share.

Since the current mandate was approved on 18 June 2025, the company has repurchased 14.46 million shares—12.88% of the 112.27 million shares authorised under the mandate. All repurchased shares are intended for cancellation and had not yet been cancelled as of 5 June 2026.

Despite the successive buybacks, the issued share capital remained unchanged at 1.12462 billion shares on 5 June 2026 because the cancelled shares had not yet been removed from the register.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, AK Medical is restricted from issuing new shares until 5 July 2026 following the latest buyback.
