Midea Group Repurchases 0.71 Million A-Shares for RMB 60.08 Million, Trimming Outstanding Float by 0.01%

Midea Group Co., Ltd. disclosed on 20 August 2026 that it bought back 708,000 A-shares on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, paying an aggregate RMB 60.08 million. The repurchase was executed at prices ranging between RMB 84.02 and RMB 85.50 per share, with a volume-weighted average price of RMB 84.86.

Post-transaction, Midea’s issued share count (excluding treasury shares) declined from 6.80 billion to 6.80 billion, reflecting a marginal reduction of 0.0104%. Treasury shares rose to 178.19 million, while the company’s total share capital remained unchanged at 6.98 billion shares.

The repurchased shares are being held as treasury stock for a future reduction of registered capital; none have yet been cancelled. The company confirmed that the buyback was authorised by its board and complied with relevant regulations of both the Shenzhen and Hong Kong stock exchanges.
