According to an announcement from the "Beijing E-Town" official WeChat account, the 2026 World Robot Conference opened in Beijing E-Town on August 19. During the main forum themed "Open Cooperation," Li Quan, a member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, unveiled the "Beijing Machine Domain" initiative—a vision for building a new society of human-machine integration and embodied intelligence.

Under this blueprint, Beijing E-Town will accelerate the development of 100 practical, differentiated robot products, driving their deployment across 1,000 specialized application scenarios. Furthermore, the district aims to rapidly advance toward the mass production of 100,000 unit-level embodied intelligent robots, while simultaneously building the capacity to manufacture 1 million sets of key core components.
