Beijing Robotics Industrial Park in Changping Officially Inaugurated

The Beijing Robotics Industrial Park (Changping) has officially commenced operations. Serving as the core northern hub within Beijing's "one south, one north" robotics industry layout, the park is dedicated to fostering comprehensive development across the entire robotics value chain. It aims to create a seamless environment where research and development, pilot production, testing, and mass manufacturing are in close proximity, effectively bridging the gap between laboratory and production lines.

As a flagship project in robotics industry development, the park is a central platform for Changping District to expand emerging industries and stimulate innovation. The facility features versatile factory buildings adaptable for industrial robot assembly, offering ready-to-use spaces for enterprises. It establishes a "one core, two focuses" R&D and production system, centered on robot platforms and concentrating on core components and intelligent sensing systems and technologies.

Currently, Lingxinqiaoshou's intelligent production line for consumer-grade dexterous hands has been established within the park. Key public service platforms, including Linghou's platform for core components and pilot production of general-purpose robots, the CCID National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center's public testing platform, and Tsinghua University's intelligent testing platform, have also moved in. The intended enterprise occupancy rate exceeds 60%, indicating the initial formation of an industrial cluster effect.

Aligning with a strategy integrating science, industry, finance, and urban development, the park implements a tripartite empowerment model combining physical space, professional services, and industrial ecosystem to support enterprise growth comprehensively. On the financial front, the park has established a special fund matrix totaling 6 billion yuan, creating a closed-loop ecosystem of direct investment, incubation, and enterprise development. Investments have already been made in several high-quality robotics tech companies, including Songyan Power, Zhongke Silicon Era, and Yuequan Bionics.

The development of the park is based on the actual needs of robotics companies for R&D, testing, and production, balancing operational efficiency with spatial quality to provide tailored industrial facilities. Following its operational launch, the park is expected to further enhance Changping's robotics industry ecosystem, address gaps in industrial support, accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and bolster efforts to establish Changping as a benchmark for high-quality robotics industry development within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and nationally.

Changping District adheres to a development philosophy emphasizing leadership by major firms, chain cultivation, seizing strategic opportunities, and cluster agglomeration. The district has issued a three-year action plan for robotics industry innovation. Currently, the district hosts 185 robotics enterprises. In 2025, the industry's revenue reached 149.3 billion yuan, marking a 25.4% year-on-year increase, and accounting for nearly 40% of Beijing's total robotics industry scale.
