Corporate data shows that on May 21, Times Dacheng (Yancheng) Energy Technology Co., Ltd., referred to as Times Dacheng, was officially established. Its legal representative is Chen Ling, with a registered capital of 1 million yuan. The company's business scope includes research and development in carbon emission reduction, carbon conversion, carbon capture, and carbon sequestration technologies, as well as services in wind power, solar power generation, and energy storage technology.

Shareholder information reveals that Times Dacheng is wholly owned by Contemporary Amperex Technology Co.,Ltd. (300750.SZ), making it a direct subsidiary of the battery giant. It is noted that among the numerous new companies established by CATL, direct ownership is relatively uncommon, with most being held indirectly.

Although the newly formed Times Dacheng has a registered capital of only 1 million yuan, it operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATL. Considering its business scope, which focuses on carbon emission reduction, conversion, capture, and sequestration technologies, this move represents CATL's further expansion within the new energy industry chain. It particularly highlights the company's strategic emphasis and development efforts in carbon neutrality technologies and renewable energy services.
