Hainan Meilan International Airport Company Limited (MEILAN AIRPORT) reported that staff representatives have elected Mr. Tian Qingquan as the company’s employee director in accordance with the Articles of Association. His directorship commences on 28 April 2026 and will run through the end of the ninth Board session. The appointment, made through an internal democratic process, does not require shareholder approval.

Mr. Tian, aged 49, is currently general manager of MEILAN AIRPORT’s planning and finance department. He will continue to draw remuneration tied only to this executive position; no additional emoluments are attached to his new board role. A service contract covering his directorship has been executed.

With more than 25 years of financial management experience, Mr. Tian has held senior finance positions across the HNA Group ecosystem, including Hainan Airlines Holdings, Hainan Airport Infrastructure, HNA Real Estate Group, and HNA Airport Group. He has led MEILAN AIRPORT’s planning and finance department since December 2021 and sits on the boards of PipeChina Hainan Province Pipeline Network Co., Ltd. and Hainan Meilan International Airport Cargo Co., Ltd.

The company confirmed that Mr. Tian has no shareholding in MEILAN AIRPORT, no ties to directors, senior management, or controlling shareholders, and no disclosable matters under Rules 13.51(2)(h)–(v) of the HKEX Listing Rules.

Following this change, MEILAN AIRPORT’s Board consists of three executive directors, three non-executive directors, four independent non-executive directors, and one employee director.
