Nanjing Baose Co., Ltd. (ASX: 300402) has announced plans to invest in the construction of a high-end intelligent manufacturing project.

The company intends to build the "Baose High-End Over-Dimensional Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Project" in the Nanjing Jiangning Binjiang Economic Development Zone, having entered into a corresponding project investment agreement with the zone's administrative committee.

The total investment for the project is set at 970 million yuan. The facility will occupy approximately 176 mu of land, with a total planned floor area of around 68.7 thousand square meters.

Project scope includes civil engineering, supporting public utilities, and the procurement and installation of production equipment. The construction period is scheduled for 36 months.

Upon reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to achieve an annual output of 25 thousand tons of large-scale non-standard equipment.

Through this initiative, the company will introduce a suite of automated and intelligent production equipment, fostering a deep integration of traditional manufacturing processes with industrial informatization and intelligent technologies.

The comprehensive construction will focus on dimensions such as digital design, intelligent production scheduling, remote equipment monitoring, enterprise information management, and networked services, systematically advancing the implementation of a smart factory.

Once operational, the project is anticipated to significantly bolster the company's intelligent manufacturing capabilities, forge new core competitive advantages, enhance production quality and efficiency, and solidify the foundation for the enterprise's industrial transformation and upgrade.
