Union Gas Holdings (1F2) said its shareholders approved the proposed diversification into the property development business at an extraordinary general meeting held on Apr, 29 2026.

The sole ordinary resolution authorises the group to expand beyond its existing core business, form new subsidiaries or joint ventures, and acquire or dispose of assets related to property development.

According to the poll results, 179,458,882 votes, representing 100.00% of the valid shares cast, supported the motion, while 910 shares voted against.

The board is now empowered to take all necessary steps to implement the diversification plan, though management noted during the meeting that no specific property project or equity fundraising exercise is currently planned.

The meeting was convened at 9:11 a.m. and closed at 10:12 a.m. after the results were announced.
