Angang Steel Shareholders Endorse Director & Senior Management Pay Framework with 99.90% Support

Angang Steel Company Limited held its first Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of 2026 on 29 June 2026 in Anshan, Liaoning. Shareholders representing 5.18 billion shares—or 55.25% of the company’s 9.37 billion issued shares—participated, either in person, by proxy or via the Shenzhen Securities online voting platform.

The sole agenda item was the “Remuneration Management System for Directors and Senior Management.” The proposal secured overwhelming backing: • For: 5.17 billion shares (99.90% of votes cast) • Against: 4.58 million shares (0.09%) • Abstain: 0.79 million shares (0.02%)

Attendance composition showed 319 A-share holders present with 5.09 billion shares (54.32% of total voting rights) and one H-share holder with 87.94 million shares (0.94%). Online participation accounted for 32.09 million A-shares, equal to 0.34% of voting rights.

BDO China Shu Lun Pan Certified Public Accountants LLP acted as vote scrutineer, while Deheng Law Offices confirmed that meeting procedures, attendee qualifications and voting processes complied with PRC laws, securities regulations and the company’s Articles of Association.

The EGM was chaired by Executive Director and Board Chairman Wang Jun. Six of seven directors attended, with one executive director absent due to other business commitments.
