Net profit attributable to the parent company's holders was approximately 11.08 billion yuan, representing a 33.7% year-over-year increase. Adjusted net profit attributable to parent company's holders was about 11.57 billion yuan, soaring 83.2% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at 3.8 yuan, with the company proposing a cash dividend of 5.1 yuan for every 10 shares.
The chemistry business generated revenue of 24.99 billion yuan, climbing 53.3% year-over-year, primarily driven by the steady progression of pipeline molecules into later stages and the gradual release of capacity from new facilities added last year. The testing business posted revenue of 2.48 billion yuan, up 31.5% year-over-year. The biology business achieved revenue of 1.39 billion yuan, an 11.2% increase, largely attributed to integrated services leveraging in vivo and in vitro drug discovery, cross-regional collaboration, and hot-topic field synergies to efficiently empower global clients.
As of the end of June 2026, the company's order backlog for continuing operations stood at 66.43 billion yuan, a 25.2% increase from the prior year. The company stated it remains focused on its unique integrated CRDMO core business, accelerating global expansion and capacity building. Benefiting from the greater success of multiple client products, its unique CRDMO model, and excellent management and execution, the company has fully revised its 2026 full-year guidance upward. It now expects full-year revenue to be in the range of 58.5 billion to 60.5 billion yuan, up from the previous guidance of 51.3 billion to 53 billion yuan. The year-over-year growth rate for continuing operations revenue is forecasted to be 35% to 39%, up from 18% to 22%. The company will continue to promote high-quality growth, steadily release economies of scale, refine operational management, and efficiently manage challenges such as the ramp-up of new production capacity and exchange rate fluctuations.
Management expressed confidence in maintaining a stable and resilient adjusted non-IFRS net profit margin for parent company holders in 2026. To better meet growing customer demand, the company is further accelerating global capacity deployment and has initiated the construction of a new base in Changzhou ahead of schedule. Capital expenditure for 2026 is now expected to be 7.5 billion to 8.5 billion yuan, up from a previous forecast of 6.5 billion to 7.5 billion yuan. With business growth and efficiency improvements, adjusted free cash flow for 2026 is projected to be 13.5 billion to 14.5 billion yuan, up from 10.5 billion to 11.5 billion yuan.
