During the National Day holiday, seven airports under the management of Shandong Airport Management Group, including Jinan Airport, handled more than 5,800 passenger flights and served over 850,000 passengers, with average daily passenger throughput up 2% year on year.

International and regional passenger throughput rose 30% year on year, while passenger volume to Seoul increased 35.7% year on year.

The peak return day was October 6, when nearly 130,000 passengers were handled, with peak holiday passenger volume up 2.2% year on year.

During the holiday, flights departing from Shandong to cities such as Guangzhou, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Sanya, Lanzhou, Zhuhai, Fuzhou, Hohhot and Ningbo grew notably year on year, while destinations including Quanzhou, Xishuangbanna, Zhanjiang and Huizhou saw relatively high year-on-year growth in passenger flow.
