U.S. Gasoline Prices Reach Highest Level in Over Two Years

On Wednesday, gasoline prices in the United States climbed to their highest level in nearly two and a half years, delivering another blow to Americans already facing financial strain.
According to data from the American Automobile Association (AAA), the national average price for regular gasoline increased by another 5 cents per gallon, reaching $3.84. This is the highest price recorded since September 25, 2023.
The AAA stated that the average price has now reached or exceeded $4 per gallon in seven states, with prices in California, Hawaii, and Washington surpassing $5 per gallon.
