ValueMax Group takes 40% stake in Indonesian pawnbroker PT Gadai

ValueMax Group Limited said its wholly owned unit, PT VMH Investment Indonesia, subscribed for 484 million new shares in PT Gadai ValueMax Indonesia on Apr, 20 2026, paying Rp48.4 billion for the stake.

The purchase lifts the Singapore-listed pawnshop operator to a 40% shareholding in the enlarged capital of PT Gadai, which runs 11 pawnbroking outlets in Jakarta. The Indonesian company will be accounted for as an associate of ValueMax Group.

ValueMax added that the deal aligns with its regional expansion strategy and is not expected to materially affect earnings or net asset value for the year ending Dec, 31 2026.
