ASML Holding NV's stock surged 5.03% during Monday's intraday trading session, significantly outperforming the broader market. The dramatic move reflects renewed investor confidence in the semiconductor equipment leader.

The rally was fueled by a wave of positive analyst actions. Bernstein raised its price target on ASML to €2,300 (approximately $2,623) from €1,700, citing expectations for unprecedented AI-driven expansion in both logic and memory chip capacity. This upgrade was accompanied by similar bullish moves from Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Degroof Petercam, which collectively lifted their targets and reaffirmed positive ratings on the stock.

Further bolstering sentiment was a major order announcement. South Korean memory chip giant SK Hynix disclosed plans to invest approximately 11.9 trillion won to procure extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography systems from ASML, with delivery expected by December 2027. ASML remains the world's sole commercial supplier of this critical chipmaking equipment. The stock's advance also aligned with a broad-based rebound in the semiconductor equipment sector following a recent correction.
