Exports of the "new three items" from the Yangtze River estuary continue to gain momentum, with energy storage cabinet transport operations at Jiangsu's Taicang Port achieving leapfrog growth.
According to statistics released on the 10th by the Taicang Maritime Safety Administration, in the first three quarters of this year, Taicang Port shipped 10,972 natural containers of energy storage cabinets, up 55.1% year on year.

The Taicang Maritime Safety Administration, together with maritime authorities, the port, enterprises and other units, has promoted the implementation of a number of regulations for energy storage cabinet transport at Taicang Port.
It has also signed agreements with Hefei, Wuhan and other places on mutual recognition of "one-container system" and "one-document system" supervision for water-to-water transshipment of "new three items" goods, reducing enterprise declaration procedures by 25% and cutting single-container logistics costs by about 20%.
In the future, the Taicang Maritime Safety Administration will improve the international logistics support system for the "new three items" and promote the safe and efficient export of energy storage cabinets.
