Domestic Futures Contracts Open with Mixed Performance, Silver and PTA Down Over 2%

The domestic futures market opened with a mixed performance among major contracts today. Contracts for silver and PTA both fell by more than 2%. Bottle-grade chips, lithium carbonate, tin, short-staple fiber, and paraxylene (PX) all declined by nearly 2%. On the gainers' side, platinum, synthetic rubber, plastic, and live hog contracts all rose by more than 1%.
