Info-Tech Systems Ltd. posted a net profit after tax of S$9.7 million for the six months ended Jun 30, up 89 percent year-on-year, driven by continued expansion of its recurring software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscriptions and surging demand for artificial-intelligence courses at its Info-Tech Academy.

Earnings per share rose to 3.75 Singapore cents from 1.99 cents a year earlier. The board proposed an interim tax-exempt dividend of 1.68 Singapore cents a share, equal to 45 percent of reported NPAT and 50 percent of adjusted NPAT. The company did not disclose a payment date.

Total revenue grew 22 percent YoY to S$27.3 million. Subscription revenue, which makes up the bulk of sales, increased 12 percent to S$21.2 million, supported by higher take-up of human-resource management system (HRMS) and accounting modules. Services revenue more than doubled to S$4.9 million on the back of AI-related training programmes that accounted for more than 85 percent of Academy turnover. Hardware revenue edged up 3 percent to S$1.2 million. Gross profit climbed 19 percent to S$22.6 million, while adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 22 percent to S$11.5 million.

Operationally, the order book expanded 14 percent to S$30.4 million and customer retention stayed above 90 percent, underpinning future recurring income. Active users of the platform reached 1.1 million across 28,000 organisations, up from 1H2025. Cash and cash equivalents stood at S$76.6 million with no borrowings, providing scope for product development, regional expansion and shareholder returns.

Info-Tech is embedding AI features across its HRMS, accounting and customer-relationship-management suites, allowing users to generate customised reports and analyse data via natural-language prompts. The company also continues to cross-sell AI training through its Academy, where cumulative registrations exceeded 23,000 as at end-June, up from about 18,000 six months earlier.

Chief executive officer Babu Dilip said the first-half performance reflected solid subscription growth and rising uptake of AI-enhanced products. He added that ongoing product innovation, customer expansion and supportive government initiatives such as the enhanced SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit are expected to sustain momentum in the second half of 2026.

Looking ahead, the group expects revenue to benefit from further SaaS adoption, high renewal rates, increased cross-selling of HRMS, accounting, CRM and Academy offerings, and continued integration of AI capabilities across its platform.
