The plan outlines a strategy focused on the coordinated advancement of four key systems: satellite resources, data resources, operational applications, and technological innovation alongside technical standards.
This initiative is designed to significantly enhance the nation's satellite resource capacity for water management.
The ministry has set a target to establish a preliminary application system covering major operational areas by the year 2030.
By 2035, the goal is to have a fully developed and comprehensive remote sensing satellite application system for water conservancy in place.
A key objective is a substantial improvement in the coverage capability for sub-meter resolution imagery.
This advancement will further strengthen the capacity for rapid monitoring and response to major water-related emergencies.
