The HHMT-EPC contract section (water transport portion) of the public terminal construction project at the Sea-River Intermodal Operation Area in the Binhai Port Zone of Yancheng Inland Port has successfully passed the final handover inspection. The project, constructed by China Communications Construction Group Shanghai Waterway Engineering Bureau, is located within the intermodal operation area of the Binhai Port Zone. It includes the development of four 500-ton general cargo berths and two 500-ton bulk cargo berths, with a total berth length of 404 meters. Supporting facilities include hydraulic structures, a comprehensive office building, steel structure warehouses, general cargo storage yards, bulk cargo storage yards, as well as power supply, lighting, control systems, water supply, drainage, and firefighting infrastructure. Following a comprehensive review, the inspection team unanimously concluded that the project meets all conditions for final acceptance. The project makes efficient use of valuable shoreline resources and strengthens connectivity with the Binhai Port Zone. Upon completion, it will enhance the supporting functions of Yancheng Inland Port's Binhai Port Zone and contribute to the economic development of Yancheng City and surrounding regions.
