Prudential buys back 379,780 shares for about GBP 4.0 million

Prudential plc announced that on Mar, 27 2026 it repurchased 379,780 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange at prices between GBP 10.375 and GBP 10.675 per share, for a total consideration of approximately GBP 3.96 million.

The company intends to cancel all of the repurchased shares. Together with 353,237 shares cancelled on the same date, Prudential’s issued share capital was reduced to 2,528,490,464 ordinary shares of GBP 0.05 each.

Separately, 763,500 shares bought back on Mar, 26 and Mar, 27 2026 remain to be cancelled. Under its current shareholder mandate approved on May, 14 2025, Prudential is authorised to repurchase up to 262.7 million shares, of which 78.7 million had been bought back as of the latest transaction, representing 3.02 % of the share count at the time the mandate was granted.
