On October 9, reporters noted that the official website of the Xuchang Municipal Natural Resources and Planning Bureau recently published the pre-approval public notice for the construction project planning permits of Phases II, III, and IV of the Pang Dong Lai Dream City project.

The public notice shows that Phase II of the Pang Dong Lai Dream City project is the Happiness Lecture Hall, with an area of 5,630 square meters and a height of no more than 24 meters; Phase III is the Cultural Center, with an area of 36,200 square meters and a height of no more than 25.45 meters; Phase IV is the hotel, with an area of 66,000 square meters and a height of no more than 99.95 meters.

According to previously published planning information, Phase I of the Pang Dong Lai Dream City project has a building area of 467,000 square meters and 3,327 parking spaces. At the same time, Phase I mainly involves the construction of a commercial complex, with a main building length of 299 meters, a width of 216 meters, a height of 50 meters, and 8 floors.

On July 23, Pang Dong Lai founder Yu Donglai posted six consecutive updates on social media, stating that Pang Dong Lai Dream City would open within three years, and said that Pang Dong Lai would simultaneously build its team into a high-quality and happy group with "healthy character, world-class standards, freedom and courage..." Yu Donglai also shared multiple renderings of the Pang Dong Lai Dream City project under construction. He also posted a personal photo of himself with the caption: "I never thought I could love myself as much as I do now..."

On the morning of September 24, Yu Donglai posted images of a foreign design team inspecting the construction of Dream City. The images showed Yu Donglai leading the Pang Dong Lai team and the foreign design team walking on the construction site wearing white safety helmets, and later holding a meeting and exchanging ideas indoors in a harmonious atmosphere.
