AK Medical Repurchases 32.26 Million Shares in June, Shrinking Free Float by 2.87%

AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed in its monthly return to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that 32.26 million ordinary shares were repurchased and moved into treasury during June 2026.

• Capital structure change – Outstanding shares (excluding treasury) fell to 1.09 billion from 1.12 billion, a net reduction of 32.26 million shares, equivalent to 2.87% of the share base at end-May. – Treasury shares increased to 32.26 million, marking the company’s first treasury-share balance on record. – Authorised share capital remained unchanged at HKD 20.00 million (2 billion shares, HKD 0.01 par).

• Buy-back details – All 32.26 million shares were repurchased on-market between 9 and 30 June at prices ranging from HKD 4.84 to HKD 5.81 per share. – Aggregate cash outlay for the June programme, based on disclosed per-trade volumes and prices, totalled approximately HKD 169.94 million. – An additional 15.56 million shares repurchased between 6 February and 8 June remain pending cancellation.

• Share-based incentives – No share options were exercised in June. – 5,761 options under the HKD 10.18 strike plan lapsed, leaving 1.03 million options outstanding at that price. – Total unexercised options across all schemes stood at 6.02 million shares at month-end.

• Compliance position The company affirmed that it continued to satisfy the Main Board’s minimum 25% public-float requirement as of 30 June 2026.

The latest activity underscores AK Medical’s ongoing capital-management strategy, with treasury shares now accounting for 2.87% of total issued stock.
