At the 2026 interim results conference held today, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. Co-Chief Executive Officer Guo Xiaotao outlined the company's strategic focus, declaring 2026 as the year of service excellence.

Guo emphasized that in an era of financial homogenization and a stock market environment, services are the key differentiator that can truly showcase the company's competitive edge. He stressed that service innovation is a critical priority this year, asserting that the company's services are certain to generate value for its performance.

Guo elaborated that the company's services fall into two main categories: integrated financial services and healthcare-elderly care services. Regardless of the category, the primary objective is to enhance customer experience, ensuring that every interaction with the group is seamless and satisfying. "Whether you've purchased our financial products—insurance, securities, wealth management, or banking—or acquired our healthcare products, you will receive excellent service," Guo stated.

Addressing integrated financial services, Guo highlighted the creation of a unified financial platform that consolidates functions such as banking, insurance, securities, and healthcare from various online customer apps into a single, major traffic entry point. This platform is enhanced with AI-powered services for greater efficiency. He provided an example: previously, customers needed to use the banking app to transfer funds, but now they can do so directly within the insurance app without switching platforms.

Regarding healthcare and elderly care services, Guo noted that with 250 million customers across China, approximately one in six Chinese nationals is a Ping An customer. Through innovative services like online AI doctors, customers in different regions can access high-quality medical resources and health services. "We believe that our differentiated service positioning will be a strategy we continue to drive forward, and it will serve as a highly effective engine for our performance growth," Guo concluded.
