Stock Track | Bannerman Energy Plummets 5.10% Intraday Amid Cash Burn Concerns

Stock Track
Jun 11

Bannerman Energy Ltd (BMN.AU) saw its shares plummet 5.10% during intraday trading on Thursday, as investors reacted to concerning financial metrics highlighted in recent analysis.

The stock's decline comes after an analysis raised concerns about the company's cash burn situation. According to the report, Bannerman Energy had a cash burn of AU$60 million over the trailing twelve months, with its cash burn increasing by 76% during this period. The company is currently pre-revenue, reporting only AU$13,000 in revenue last year.

While the analysis noted that Bannerman Energy had approximately 20 months of cash runway as of December 2025 and analysts forecast the company reaching cashflow breakeven in three years, the significant increase in cash burn appears to have worried investors about the company's financial sustainability and path to profitability.
