In a move to regulate project management, the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission has decided to revoke nine photovoltaic power station projects, with a total capacity of 95.875 megawatts (approximately 959 MW). The decision follows the commission's earlier cancellation of a batch of projects in 2025 and is based on project termination proposals submitted by various localities.

The affected projects include the 60MW Fuzhou Tongwei Huijin Fishery-Photovoltaic Integration (Phase II) Photovoltaic Power Generation Project. The commission cited the impact of adjustments in relevant resource guarantee policies and other factors, stating that these projects no longer possess the necessary conditions for development.

The commission has instructed relevant municipal development and reform departments to notify local functional authorities to cease accepting applications for land and sea use related to these revoked projects. Furthermore, these departments are urged to accelerate the construction of projects already included in the province's annual photovoltaic power station development and construction plan (pilot) to ensure they are completed on schedule.

The grid connection and consumption resources originally allocated to the revoked projects will be reclaimed by State Grid Fujian Electric Power Co., Ltd.
