New Century Healthcare Holding Co. Limited has confirmed a board reshuffle that will see Mr. Wang Siye step down and Mr. Qiu Xiang join as a non-executive director.
Mr. Wang’s resignation, attributed to work adjustments, takes effect on 30 June 2026. The departing director indicated no disagreement with the board and highlighted no issues requiring shareholder attention.
Effective 2 July 2026, Mr. Qiu Xiang, aged 36, will assume the role of non-executive director. Currently a managing director at Boyu Capital, Mr. Qiu brings more than a decade of healthcare investment experience. His board experience includes directorships at: • Shenzhen Edge Medical Co., Ltd. (listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stock code 2675) since October 2021, with a shift to non-executive status in January 2022; • Frontera Therapeutics since November 2025, re-designated non-executive in December 2025; • Wecare Probiotics Co., Ltd. since January 2026, re-designated non-executive in March 2026.
Mr. Qiu holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Peking University (July 2012). He has signed a three-year service contract with New Century Healthcare commencing 2 July 2026, terminable with three months’ written notice by either party. The position carries no remuneration. The company states he holds no shares in New Century Healthcare and has no relationships with directors, senior management or substantial shareholders.
The board expressed appreciation for Mr. Wang’s contributions and extended a formal welcome to Mr. Qiu as the company continues its strategic focus on pediatric and family healthcare services in China.
