Want Want China Executes HK$9.49 Million Share Buy-Back; 30.70 Million Shares Await Cancellation

Want Want China Holdings Limited reported a fresh share repurchase in its latest Next Day Disclosure Return dated 13 August 2026.

Key transaction • On 13 August 2026 the company bought back 2.91 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HK$3.225 and HK$3.275, spending HK$9.49 million. • All shares repurchased are designated for cancellation.

Outstanding repurchased shares • Including the latest purchase, shares acquired but not yet cancelled between 29 July and 13 August 2026 total 30.70 million, equal to about 0.26% of the current issued share capital.

Capital structure • Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) stood unchanged at 11.79 billion as of both 12 and 13 August 2026, as the repurchased shares remain uncancelled. • No new shares were issued, and the treasury-share balance was nil.

Repurchase mandate utilisation • Shareholders authorised the company on 26 August 2025 to repurchase up to 1.18 billion shares. • Cumulative buy-backs under this mandate have reached 47.82 million shares, representing approximately 0.41% of the issued share count on the mandate date.

Regulatory note Under Hong Kong listing rules, Want Want China is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 12 September 2026 following the latest repurchase.
