51WORLD (06651) surged over 15% in late trading, with shares up 12.89% to HK$78.40 at the time of writing, on a turnover of HK$508 million.

On the news front, 51WORLD previously announced that it will hold a board meeting on Monday, August 10, 2026, with the agenda including the review and approval of the company and its subsidiaries' interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, and their release.

Notably, the mandatory national standard "Intelligent Connected Vehicles - Autonomous Driving System Safety Requirements," formulated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, has been officially approved and will be fully implemented on July 1 next year. This mandatory national standard establishes simulation testing as a hard prerequisite for L3-level access, which is expected to unlock long-term growth for the simulation sector. 51WORLD, with its industry-leading simulation technology and unique positioning across the full industrial chain, is well-positioned to benefit.
