Baidu has unveiled its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, posting a total quarterly revenue of 31.3 billion yuan. The company's core business revenue reached 25.2 billion yuan, with AI-related revenue accounting for 50% of that figure, marking the second consecutive quarter where AI has contributed over half of core earnings.
During this period, GPU cloud services within the AI cloud infrastructure segment experienced a remarkable 283% year-on-year growth, sustaining triple-digit expansion for four straight quarters. Robin Li, founder of Baidu, commented on the company's trajectory, stating, "With AI business becoming the core development direction of Baidu, we are laying a solid foundation for the next phase of AI-driven growth." He added, "This quarter, our AI cloud infrastructure maintained strong momentum, with GPU cloud accelerating further on an already high base. Our AI application portfolio continues to perform well, with enhancing capabilities and expanding use cases. Apollo Go is steadily advancing global expansion while strengthening safety, operational efficiency, and passenger experience."
Li emphasized that the sustained growth in AI operations further validates Baidu's transformation from an internet-centric enterprise to an AI-first company, reinforcing confidence in long-term growth prospects. The financial report indicates that AI cloud infrastructure revenue reached 7.3 billion yuan in the second quarter, up 50% year-on-year, while GPU cloud grew at an accelerated pace of 283%, up from the previous quarter's 184% growth rate. According to an IDC report, Baidu AI Cloud holds the number one market share in industries such as finance, gaming, and embodied intelligence.
During the quarter, AI application revenue generated 2.5 billion yuan, reflecting a 3% year-on-year increase. In August, Baidu completed a new round of integration across its AI office product lines, forming a comprehensive suite represented by Baidu Dazi, Kuku AI, and Miaoda. Based on the AI office intelligent agent ranking, Baidu Dazi's monthly active users surged 1,063.79% month-over-month in July, securing the top spot for growth. Kuku AI office MAU surpassed 25 million, leading the AI office sector overall.
