WUXI BIO completes HK$74.88 million share buyback, lifting pending cancellations to 21.10 million shares

On 9 June 2026, WuXi Biologics (Cayman) Inc. reported the on-market repurchase of 2.52 million ordinary shares at prices ranging from HK$28.58 to HK$30.52, for a total consideration of HK$74.88 million.

Including this latest transaction, shares repurchased between 27 May and 9 June 2026 but not yet cancelled now stand at 21.10 million, equivalent to approximately 0.51 % of the company’s 4.14 billion issued shares.

Under the buyback mandate granted on 6 June 2025—authorising the company to repurchase up to 406.87 million shares—WUXI BIO has so far acquired 44.28 million shares, representing 1.09 % of the issued share base at the time the mandate was approved.

The company’s total issued shares remain unchanged at 4.14 billion as of 9 June 2026 because all repurchased shares are pending formal cancellation. A 30-day moratorium restricts any new share issuance or treasury-share sale until 9 July 2026.
