Three Key Indexes Re-enter Expansion Zone in March, Signaling Economic Recovery

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on March 31, the manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), the non-manufacturing business activity index, and the composite PMI output index all returned to expansion territory in March. The readings were 50.4%, 50.1%, and 50.5%, respectively, marking increases of 1.4, 0.6, and 1.0 percentage points compared to the previous month. This indicates a recovery in China’s economic activity levels.
