Japan PM Sanae Takaichi Says No Reflation Steps Needed at This Stage

At a parliamentary session, Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said that given the current economic conditions, Japan does not require reflation stimulus measures.
She noted that there is a distinction between her own policies and so-called reflation policies, adding that the Japanese economy is not currently in a state of deflation.
The Prime Minister also said Japan will communicate prudently with the market in a highly transparent manner to preserve market trust, and she expressed full respect for the independence of the Bank of Japan.
