Oregon Attorney General to Seek Court Order for Paramount's Compliance with Merger Investigation

According to documents reviewed by media, Oregon's Attorney General will seek a court order compelling Paramount to comply with investigative demands related to its acquisition of Warner Bros.
Following approval of the deal by the U.S. Department of Justice, Oregon is seeking to obtain documents concerning the company's lobbying efforts to secure support for the merger from the Trump administration.
The state indicated in court filings to be submitted that Paramount plans to complete the transaction on or shortly after July 16.
