Midea Group Executes RMB120.53 Million Share Buyback; Issues 0.37 Million New Shares via Option Exercises

Midea Group Co., Ltd. (Midea Group) reported several capital movements dated 26 May 2026. Key details are as follows:

• Share repurchase: The company bought back 1.51 million A-shares on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange at prices between RMB79.45 and RMB80.50 per share, spending RMB120.53 million in total. The average repurchase price was RMB79.71. These shares are held as treasury stock.

• Option exercises: Employees exercised options under the Eighth and Ninth Stock Option Incentive Plans, resulting in the issuance of 199,155 shares at RMB70.29 per share and 174,348 shares at RMB45.16 per share, respectively. In aggregate, 373,503 new shares were issued.

• Net share change: After offsetting the buyback and option exercises, the outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) declined by 1.14 million to 6.84 billion, a 0.02% reduction versus the previous day. Treasury shares increased to 118.99 million.

• Capital structure as of 26 May 2026: Total issued shares, including treasury stock, stand at 6.96 billion.

All transactions were authorized by the board and executed in compliance with relevant listing and regulatory requirements.
