On August 17, the "Agricultural Wholesale Price 200 Index" stood at 115.47, marking an increase of 0.28 points from the previous Friday, according to data monitored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

The "Vegetable Basket" product wholesale price index was recorded at 115.97, up 0.34 points from the same comparison period. As of 2:00 PM on the day, the national average wholesale price for pork was 16.03 yuan per kilogram, a rise of 1.6% from last Friday; beef was 68.10 yuan per kilogram, up 0.6%; mutton was 65.03 yuan per kilogram, up 0.4%; eggs were 10.40 yuan per kilogram, up 1.9%; and white-feathered chicken was 17.33 yuan per kilogram, up 0.4%.

The average price of 28 key vegetables monitored was 4.64 yuan per kilogram, up 1.3% from the previous Friday, while the average price of six key fruits monitored was 6.92 yuan per kilogram, down 1.3%. For aquatic products, crucian carp averaged 20.40 yuan per kilogram, down 0.7%; carp was 14.50 yuan per kilogram, down 0.7%; silver carp was 10.60 yuan per kilogram, up 1.8%; and large ribbonfish was 42.70 yuan per kilogram, down 1.1%.

Among the 46 varieties monitored in the domestic fresh agricultural wholesale market, the top five price increases compared to last Friday were oyster mushrooms, rapeseed, lettuce, cucumber, and spinach, with increases of 6.7%, 5.1%, 4.0%, 3.7%, and 3.2%, respectively. The top five price decreases were Ya pear, giant peak grape, Fuji apple, Chinese cabbage, and large yellow croaker, with declines of 3.6%, 3.6%, 1.8%, 1.6%, and 1.4%, respectively.
