Starting today, individual consumers in Beijing can receive a 15% subsidy on the final sale price for purchasing 10 categories of smart home products, including embodied intelligent robots and smart door locks, with a maximum subsidy of 1,500 yuan per item.

This expansion of the consumer goods trade-in policy, as announced by the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, aims to improve policy effectiveness. The newly added 10 subsidy categories are precisely focused on smart home and age-friendly needs. They include: smart door locks, smart cameras, smart floor scrubbers (including smart mops and smart vacuums), smart toilets (including smart toilet seats), digital cameras (including action cameras), smart earphones, whole-home smart hubs (including smart home servers and smart gateways), smart beds (including smart mattresses), smart electric wheelchairs, and embodied intelligent robots (including companion robots, robot dogs, exoskeleton robots, and elderly care robots).

According to the announcement, the new products must have smart functions and a unified national barcode. Products with energy or water efficiency labels must meet Level 1 standards.

The subsidy is applied as an instant deduction at the point of sale. It is set at 15% of the final selling price after all other discounts. Each individual can receive a subsidy for one item per category, with a cap of 1,500 yuan per item. Consumers must complete real-name authentication through the "Jingtong" mobile app, then enter the "Smart Home Subsidy" section to obtain a subsidy voucher code. This code is used when purchasing the qualifying smart home products from participating businesses, and the discount is applied at checkout for both online and offline purchases.

Subsidized products must be unboxed and verified to match the sales order, and consumers should cooperate in taking photos for verification. The Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau reminds consumers that the subsidy for these 10 new smart home categories will be implemented from the date of the announcement until the subsidy funds are used up. Rules regarding the use, unbinding, cancellation, and return of subsidy vouchers will follow the implementation details of the "Beijing 2026 Home Appliance Trade-In and Digital & Smart Product Purchase Subsidy Rules."
