Guocoland Malaysia finalises privatisation through selective capital reduction

Guocoland (Malaysia) Berhad (GUOCO) said the settlement of the offer price for its selective capital reduction and repayment exercise was completed on Aug, 7 2026, marking the conclusion of its privatisation process.

The company’s adviser, Maybank Investment Bank, confirmed that payments were made on Aug, 7 2026 to entitled shareholders: transfers were credited electronically to shareholders with eDividend accounts, while cheques, banker’s drafts or cashier’s orders were mailed to those without such accounts.

With the settlement concluded, the privatisation of Guocoland (Malaysia) Berhad under Section 116 of the Companies Act 2016 is now complete.
