Frontdoor Inc's stock soared 5.15% during intraday trading on Thursday, driven by the company's release of better-than-expected first-quarter financial results.
The U.S. home warranty provider reported Q1 revenue of $451 million, a 6% increase year-over-year that beat analyst estimates of $442.27 million. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.73, surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.68. The company also beat expectations for adjusted EBITDA, reporting $104 million compared to estimates of $99.6 million.
Revenue growth was primarily driven by a 5% increase in realized prices. The company also repurchased $60 million worth of shares during the quarter and reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue outlook of $2.155 billion to $2.195 billion, along with its adjusted EBITDA guidance of $565 million to $580 million.
