Guolian Minsheng Securities reported solid first-quarter results for 2026, driven by active securities trading and improved interest income.

Operating income reached 1.86 billion RMB, an 18.81 % year-on-year increase. Net profit attributable to shareholders grew 32.07 % to 496.76 million RMB, while total profit stood at 627.15 million RMB. Basic and diluted earnings per share both rose to RMB 0.09.

Fee and commission income remained the core contributor, advancing 30.56 % to 1.10 billion RMB, supported by a 44 % surge in brokerage commissions and resilient investment-banking and asset-management fees. Net interest income turned positive at 48.67 million RMB versus a 4.68 million RMB loss a year earlier, reflecting stronger financing income. Investment income climbed 23.74 % to 853.14 million RMB.

Operating cash flow expanded to 5.52 billion RMB, six-and-a-half times last year’s level, bolstered by higher net receipts from agency sales of securities and repurchase transactions. Free cash generation helped fund a 1.01 billion RMB net inflow from financing activities, mainly through bond issuance.

Total assets increased 16.69 % since year-end 2025 to 237.13 billion RMB, driven by larger trading positions and an expansion in repurchase business. Owners’ equity rose 1.91 % to 53.49 billion RMB. The parent company’s net capital improved to 20.16 billion RMB, lifting the net-capital-to-net-assets ratio to 39.32 %. Core regulatory indicators remained above the China Securities Regulatory Commission’s thresholds: risk coverage ratio was 287.94 %, capital leverage ratio 12.38 %, and liquidity coverage ratio 171.42 %.

At quarter-end, state-owned Wuxi Guolian Development (Group) held 23.86 % of outstanding shares and, through controlled affiliates, indirectly owned an additional 14.65 %, bringing its combined stake to 38.52 %. The shareholder base totaled 102,823 accounts.

Management attributed the earnings expansion to heightened market activity and continued optimisation of the firm’s diversified business mix. All financial information is unaudited and prepared under PRC GAAP.
