Singapore Shipping Corporation shareholders approve all resolutions at Jul, 30 2026 AGM

Singapore Shipping Corporation Limited announced that all motions tabled at its 38th Annual General Meeting on Jul, 30 2026 were passed by poll.

Shareholders approved the audited financial statements for the year ended Mar, 31 2026 and cleared a final tax-exempt dividend of 1.0 Singapore cent per ordinary share, payable on Sep, 28 2026. Directors’ fees of up to 0.20 million Singapore dollars for the financial year ending Mar, 31 2027 were also endorsed.

The meeting re-elected Mr Ow Yew Heng, Mr A Selverajah and Mr Chow Hoe Keong to the board and re-appointed Ernst & Young LLP as external auditor for the coming year.

Under special business, investors authorised the directors to issue new shares under the company’s scrip dividend scheme and general share issue mandate, and renewed the authority for the company to buy back up to 10% of its issued shares.

The board expressed appreciation to Lead Independent Director Ms Pebble Sia Huei-Chieh, who retired after nine years of service.

The meeting concluded at 11:43 a.m. local time.
